Begun by the Columbia River Maritime Museum's Education Department in the fall of 1999, this project paired eight ninth-grade students from Astoria High School with Museum volunteers to collect the personal histories of Astoria residents. The project has since become know as the Senior to Senior Project, taking high school students and connecting them with an accomplished professional in the community for an interview. |
